ZEZEMARU hits Chapter #44 — and its biggest arc yet begins

Forty-four chapters in, ZEZEMARU has quietly become the spine of the Slingshot! Daily weekly schedule. This week's chapter closes the Sling Isles arc that has run since #29 and opens the door on the Gold Trials.

"I wrote the Isles as a place Zeze could lose in," says creator Michael Madlock. "The Trials are where he finds out what winning actually costs. Structurally it's the first time he has something to defend rather than something to chase."

The new arc runs weekly with no scheduled breaks. Chapters #43 and #44 are available to Slingshot+ members now and unlock for everyone on the standard two-week rotation.
